Inpatient Care Units
Loretto's three inpatient psychiatric units are supported by an array of programs and treatment protocols to meet the individual needs of our clients. Our psychiatric unit staff have a special understanding for the concerns surrounding a client who requires hospitalization. We collect comprehensive information on the patient before admission and work closely with the admitter to ensure symptom-specific, responsive care during a client's stay.

Inpatient Psychiatric Admission
Loretto Hospital offers direct admission under the phsycian of choice or a physician can be assigned by our Medical Director. Because we are a general community hospital, individuals who may require medical services as well as psychiatric treatment can be admitted without problem.

Referrels to Loretto's adult psychiatric units may be made by the patient, family members, physicians, counselors, social service agencies, employers, ministers, teachers, or as a result of crisis intervention. Our psychiatric admission procedures are designed to be simple and efficient.
